ATTORNEY KARL ANDERSEN

Karl J. Andersen partnered with Samuel Broyles in 2016, after working closely with Mr. Broyles on numerous heavy litigation cases. Litigation is hard work, and Mr. Andersen knows the value of working hard and serving his clients.  He was born in Logan, Utah; raised on a dairy farm.  An Eagle Scout, Mr. Andersen worked the family farm, and also worked cement construction to make enough money to attend Utah State University.  Prior to earning his BS in Pre-Law from Utah State University, Mr. Andersen served a religious and humanitarian mission in Louisiana for two years.

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Andersen relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and became a stockbroker, and achieved his Series 7 stock trading license.  After saving some funds for law school, he relocated to Las Vegas in order to take advantage of the academic scholarship offered to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Boyd School of Law.

Education & Court Admissions

Mr. Andersen graduated and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2006, and was admitted to the Nevada Bar shortly thereafter.  During law school, he earned the CALI Award in Property, and had the opportunity to extern with the Honorable Judge Mahan in Federal Court.  After graduating law school, Mr. Andersen worked at several prestigious litigation firms before starting his own practice. It was during this phase that Mr. Andersen joined forces with Samuel Broyles on numerous cases, eventually leading to their formal partnership. Mr. Andersen’s civil litigation practice has included cases in Nevada State Courts, Federal Court, Administrative Boards, and Appeals before the Nevada Supreme Court; concentrating in Contracts, Business, Construction, Real Estate and Family Law.

Legal Experience

Mr. Andersen has extensive experience handling various types of cases.  Mr. Andersen provides zealous yet thoughtful advocacy against his opponents, while his easygoing manner guides the most anxious client through the hazardous legal system. It is important to Mr. Andersen that his clients’ matters are handled vigorously, carefully, and efficiently. Each case is different, and each case has its own strategy and factors that must be considered.

Mr. Andersen has litigated hundreds of cases successfully, including complex litigation, breach of contract, foreclosure, fraud, alleged statutory violations, insurance defense and family law disputes. Mr. Andersen has experience in mediation, arbitration, Federal and State Court. He has taken many cases to trial, and Mr. Andersen has even been involved in several appeals before the Nevada Supreme Court.  While many are still pending; others have been adjudicated in his client’s favor.

Mr. Andersen’s clients have included small and large businesses, construction companies, real estate dealers, as well as insurance companies.
